This Returns Policy outlines your rights and our obligations in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

RETURNS POLICY

How to Request a Return

Include your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions upon approval.

  • Returns must be approved via email before being sent.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Returns may also be at our Narellan boutique.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us immediately with:

  • Order number
  • Clear description of the issue
  • Photographs of the fault or damage

Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for items with a major fault.

Sale & Promotional Items

All purchases made with a promotional code or SALE (excluding first-time customer discounts) are final sale and not eligible for return unless faulty or misrepresented.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned, unless faulty or not as described:

  • Earrings and body jewellery (due to hygiene regulations)
  • Custom-made or personalised items (e.g. bespoke designs, engravings)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

To order a different item, please return your eligible item for store credit and place a new order online.

Refunds (Faulty Items Only)

Refunds are issued only when required under Australian Consumer Law, such as for:

  • Major faults
  • Items not as described

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow time for your bank to process the transaction. If you haven’t received your refund after 15 business days, contact us at store@diamondworldjewellers.com.au.

Bespoke & Custom Orders

  • A 20% deposit is required to commence any custom or bespoke design.
  • Bespoke pieces are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • If cancelled after production has started, the remains payable due to the personalised nature of the work.

Custom Design Deposit Policy

  • A $50 deposit is required to begin the custom design process
  • The deposit is fully redeemable and will be deducted from your final invoice.
  • Deposits are non-refundable as they cover time, sourcing, and consultation with our Bridal Concierge.
  • If you choose not to proceed with the custom piece, your deposit will be held as a store credit valid for any future purchase at Diamond World Fine Jewellery.
  • By submitting your deposit, you agree to these terms.


Order Cancellations

Diamond World Fine Jewellers reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion.
