Diamond World Fine Jewellers – Online Returns Policy

At Diamond World Fine Jewellers, your satisfaction is our priority. We take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of each piece, and are committed to ensuring a seamless and transparent returns experience. Please review the following policy, which outlines your rights and our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


14-Day Return Policy – Store Credit Only

We offer a 14-day return period from the date your order is delivered. To request a return, please email us at store@diamondworldjewellers.com.au for approval before sending your item back.

Please note:

  1. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
  2. All approved returns will be issued as store credit only.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  1. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
  2. All original packaging and tags must be intact, including the anti-tamper tag
  3. A valid receipt or proof of purchase must be provided

Important:

  1. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
  2. Clients are responsible for return shipping costs.
  3. Returns may also be dropped off in person at our Narellan boutique.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please email us immediately with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Supporting photographs

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law if the item has a major fault.


Sale Merchandise & Promotional Items

All merchandise purchased using any promotional code (excluding a first-time purchase discount) is considered a final sale and is not eligible for return or store credit unless the item is faulty or misrepresented.


Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty or not as described, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Earrings or body jewellery (due to hygiene regulations)
  • Custom-made or personalised items (e.g. bespoke designs, engravings)
  • Gift cards and sale items

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please return your original purchase for store credit, then place a new order.


Refunds (Faulty Items Only)

Refunds are only provided when required under Australian Consumer Law, such as in the case of major product faults.

If your refund is approved:

  1. It will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days
  2. Please allow additional time for your bank to complete the transaction
  3. If you have not received your refund after 15 business days, please contact us at store@diamondworldjewellers.com.au

Bespoke & Custom Designs

  1. A 20% deposit is required to commence any bespoke order
  2. Bespoke items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
  3. If cancelled after production has begun, the full agreed price remains payable due to the personalised nature of the work

Order Cancellations

Diamond World Fine Jewellery reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion.
